स्टॉफ की भी कमी

दमुआ :-जिले में भौगोलिक दृष्टि से सबसे बड़े सीमा क्षेत्र और दुर्गम बसाहटों को अपने मे समेटे दमुआ थाना बीते लगभग तीन माह से नगर निरीक्षक विहीन है।टीआई विनोदसिंह कुशवाह के थाने से स्थानांतरण के बाद यहाँ की कमान प्रभारी एसआई के कांधे पर है। स्वीकृत पद के विरुद्ध सक्षम अधिकारी की अभी तक पोस्टिंग नही होने की वजह से तमाम मातहतों की मौज हो गयी है वही थाने क्षेत्र में कानून व्यवस्था लचर नजर आती है ।नतीजतन क्षेत्र में अवैध धंधो से जुड़े लोगों में पुलिस का खौफ खत्म जैसा लगने लगा है ।
24 जून 2019 को दमुआ में पदस्थ टीआई विनोद कुशवाह का ट्रांसफर कोयलांचल के इस महत्वपूर्ण थाने से कोतवाली हो गया था। तब से थाने की कमान एसआई एस.एस.पवार के हाथों में है। मातहत स्टॉफ में यहाँ कुछ लोग इतने पुराने हो चुके है जैसे दमुआ से उनका नाता जन्म जन्मांतर का हो। नतीजे में थाना क्षेत्र के तहत तमाम उजले और काले कारनामों से ताल्लुक रखने वालों से इनका एक तरह से याराना सा हो गया है। जनचर्चा है कि इसी वजह से यहाँ कोयला खदानों लोहा सहित दीगर जगहों की चोरियों की कायमी तक का पता नही चल पाता । वही रेत, बोल्डर्स और कोयले के अवैध सौदागर खुलकर अपने धंधो को अंजाम देते है। यही हाल क्षेत्र में अवैध शराब, सट्टे और जुएं का भी है। सारे काम बेहद इत्मीनान के साथ धड़ल्ले से जारी है।

दमुआ थाना भौगोलिक क्षेत्र के नजरिए से काफी फैला हुआ है। उत्तर में इसकी सीमा टेमरु 70 किमी दूर दुर्गम पंचायत टेमरु तक है जहाँ से आगे होशंगावाद जिले और पश्चिमी हिस्से से बैतूल जिले की सीमा लग जाती है। बैतूल का सीमावर्ती गांव खैरवानी यहाँ से लगभग 25 किमी दूर है । 11 किमी दूर रामनगरी और मेहदाबीर से नवेगांव थाना लग जाता है । घोरवाड़ी से आगे नीमढाना से जुन्नारदेव के डुंगरिया चौकी की सीमा लग जाती है ।थाना क्षेत्र को आलमोद, टेमरु, कुकरपानी, जैसी पंचायते और इनके गांव दुरूह बनाते है तो घोरावाड़ी झरना और रामपुर तानसी में संचालित कोयला खदाने क्षेत्र को अपराधों के नजरिए से खास बनाते है। कोयला खदानों के कारण क्षेत्र में यूपी बिहार बंगाल और दक्षिण भारत तक के लोगो का यहाँ बसेरा है । एक तरह से छोटा भारत बसता है यहाँ ।कोयला खदानों के इन मजदूरों की वजह से घोरावाड़ी और तानसी दोनो ही जगह अपराधों के केंद्र में रहती है । दोनो क्षेत्र में अवैध कच्ची और पक्की शराब का धंधा और इससे जुड़े जुआ सट्टा सबकुछ चरम पर रहता है । 76 गांव  वाले इस थाना क्षेत्र में  अक्सर पुलिस स्टॉफ की कमी ही रही है और यही कमी अवैध धंधोबाजो के लिए वरदान बन गयी है । थाने में सेटिंग बाजो का आलम यह है कि चोरियों और अन्य कई घटनाओं पर आसानी से पर्दा डाल दिया जाता है । खास कर चोरियों पर काला हीरा कहलाने वाला कोयला और पीला सोना कहलाने वाली रेत के धंधे यहाँ की पहचान है बीते कुछ समय से रेत माफियाओ की पारखी नजरो को इलाका बहुत भाया है ।
